Your ItineraryDay 1 - After joining your holiday coach, travel to the south coast to arrive mid- afternoon. On arrival enjoy a cuppa with home-made cakes before gathering in the Verandah Bar for a welcome drink before dinner. 3 nights DBB
Day 2 - New Year's Eve - At leisure in Eastbourne with a light finger buffet lunch served in the Verandah Restaurant. Eastbourne is an elegant seaside resort in a glorious location, sheltered by the rolling hills of the South Downs. With its Victorian pier, award-winning sandy beaches and colourful gardens, Eastbourne has an air of quality. It's easy to get around Eastbourne as everything is within easy reach of the seafront, and the town centre is just a few yards from the centrally located pier. Beachy Head cliffs, at the western end of the seafront, are the UK's highest chalk cliffs and provide spectacular views of the town. Eastbourne also boasts a rich history, with a variety of castles, museums and galleries to visit. (Subject to opening times). Activities in the hotel this afternoon including bingo. This evening, pre-dinner drinks are hosted by a Toast Master and Piper before the New Year's Eve Gala Dinner (evening dress / lounge suits please). Entertainment and dancing until after midnight
Day 3 - New Year's Day - After breakfast, it's all aboard for a drive along to Brighton. Blow the cobwebs away on this morning jaunt along the coast to popular Brighton. Stretching out into the sea is the iconic, neon-lit Brighton Pier for invigorating ocean views. Brighton's colourful network of shopping streets known as The Lanes are awash with vintage gear, antiques and quaint cafes. Subject to Bank Holiday opening times. Return to the hotel for an afternoon quiz. The theme of this evening's Chef's Buffet dinner is Witches & Wizards. Don't forget your fancy dress as prizes will be awarded for the best costumes.
