INCLUDED EXCURSIONS
New Forest Scenic Drive – Brockenhurst & Lymington (All tours)
Step back in time and discover the charm and natural beauty of the unique destination of the New Forest which became a national park in 2005. Once a royal hunting ground for William the Conqueror, it covers an area of 566 square kilometres and is made up of vast tracts of unspoilt woodland, heathland and river valleys. Today deer, ponies and cattle continue to roam free in its ancient heaths and woodland as well as through the quaint traditional villages. Picturesque Brockenhurst is in the heart of the New Forest surrounded by some of the loveliest forest landscapes and Georgian Lymington on the coast is a colourful, historic town with a rich maritime history.

Cruise to Swanage (All tours)
Start your day on charming Poole Quay before boarding your boat for a scenic cruise (approx. 1 hour) to the Victorian resort of Swanage, passing Brownsea Island, the beaches of Studland Bay and the opening cliffs of the Jurassic coast.   Arrive at Swanage pier to spend some time in this popular coastal town, transformed during the Victorian era into a seaside favourite and now a well-established atmospheric resort with a long beach, interesting shops, fresh clean air and rich heritage. Your driver will transfer you back to Bournemouth later in the afternoon

Dorchester – Market Day (7 day tour only)
Vibrant Dorchester is not only Dorset's county town but also the birthplace of famous author and poet Thomas Hardy. The town enjoys a rich history dating back as far as the Iron Age and following a multi-million pound development, the excellent Dorset Museum is a major cultural attraction which traces 250 million years of Dorset’s history (entrance not included – approx. £10pp in 2021). Thomas Hardy fans will of course, know Dorchester as ‘Casterbridge’ and can hunt down the Mayor of Casterbridge locations tucked away in the modern Dorchester’s streets. With a large indoor market and an outside undercover section, you will find a wide range of products come rain or shine every Wednesday morning (until 13.00) at Dorchester Market.

OPTIONAL EXCURSION
Southampton
Drive through the New Forest to the famous port city of Southampton, the place where the ill-fated Titanic departed in 1912.  You may like to visit Southampton's bustling Guildhall Square, well known as the Cultural Quarter of the City and home to museums, galleries, bars, cafes, and restaurants. Or walk the city’s old walls and see the refurbished timber-framed Tudor House and Gardens (admission not included – approx. £6pp in 2021). The fabulous Sea City Museum (admission not included – approx. £9pp in 2021) houses a permanent exhibition of Southampton’s Titanic story and the magnificent West Quay is a state-of-the-art shopping facility with almost a hundred shops.
