Discover more than 900 years of royal history at Windsor Castle. Experience one of London's most magnificent royal palaces, said to be the Queen's favourite residence. Founded by William the Conqueror in the 11th century, it is the largest and oldest occupied castle in the world and has been home to 39 monarchs. From the lavish State Apartments and impressive grounds, to St George's Chapel, where many a royal has tied the knot (including Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, of course), there are plenty of things to see at Windsor Castle.  Early afternoon re-join the group and drive through Windsor Great Park to the Savill Garden.

Itinerary

Your Itinerary

Day 1 -From your chosen joining point our feeder vehicle will take you to our designated interchange point where your holiday begins. After joining your holiday coach head to Kingston Upon Thames for some free time and refreshments. Onto Leatherhead to check in for the next 2 nights with breakfast & dinner included.

Day 2 - Included Excursion:
Windsor Castle & The Savill Garden.
Make the most of your visit to the Queen's favourite residence followed by your included visit to The Savill Garden.  Since its creation in the 1930s, The Savill Garden has been an inspiration for all. This natural haven of beautifully designed gardens and woodland can be enjoyed by everyone.  The 35 acres of interconnected gardens include the Hidden Gardens, Spring Wood, the Summer Gardens, the New Zealand Garden, Summer Wood, The Glades, Autumn Wood and the Winter Beds.

Day 3 - Check out after breakfast. Enjoy a visit to Winston Churchill's garden at Chartwell on the way to interchange. Born from the keen amateur but creative minds of both Winston and Clementine Churchill, the gardens of Chartwell are as varied as they are beautiful the whole year round. History and nature merge seamlessly across the estate from the distinctive pastel colours of pink and white roses favoured by Lady Churchill, fruit and vegetables framed by the walls Sir Winston Churchill helped build, to acres of woodland and wider meadows. Onwards to interchange and your home- towns mid-evening. Back to top
