Scotland’s Hogmanay is where the world comes to party! And we're looking forward to celebrating with you into 2022! Scotland has always known how to see in the New Year in style... so why not celebrate with a fun-filled Hogmanay break on the West Coast of Dumfries & Galloway? Join the traditional Hogmanay celebrations and enjoy good company, live music, dancing and a glass of fizz and or maybe two…..

Day 1 - From your chosen joining point your feeder vehicle will take you to the designated interchange point where your holiday begins. Relax on your holiday coach and enjoy the scenery and with ample refreshment stops on the way to Stranraer at the head of the coastal Loch Ryan. 3 nights stay with DBB and New Year special inclusions.
Day 2 – Morning at leisure in Stranraer. Gateway to the Rhinns of Galloway, Stranraer is a bustling port town with plenty of shops and eateries as well as its main attraction, the Castle of St. John, a ruined tower which sits on a green in the main street. A buffet lunch will be served in the hotel’s Regency Dining Room and there will be various activities taking place such as an indoor putting competition, table tennis and a New Year’s Eve Treasure Hunt. Don your glad rags this evening and enjoy a glass of fizz in the residents’ lounge before the Hogmanay Gala Evening commences. There will be live music and plenty of dancing to celebrate the arrival of 2022!
Day 3 – Blow those cobwebs away today with a scenic coastal drive along the shores of Loch Ryan into Ayrshire towards the seaside town of Girvan with views to the island of Ailsa Craig, the 1,114 feet high volcanic rock that protrudes from middle of the Firth of Clyde. Buffet lunch is available in the hotel followed by afternoon bingo. The hotel has its very own indoor curling rink and you will be able to enjoy the traditional New Year’s Day Curling Bonspiel (tournament). A farewell dinner this evening is served in the restaurant.

North West Castle Hotel, Stranraer
The 19th century 3* North West Castle Hotel is a fine country house hotel, located across the road from the shores of Loch Ryan, just a 10-minute walk to the centre of Stranraer. Once the home of the Scottish Explorer, Sir John Ross, the hotel makes an excellent base for exploring the beautiful local area. All 72 spacious, homely bedrooms are equipped with TV, hairdryer and tea / coffee making facilities. The grand dining rooms offers views across the loch and the wood-panelled bar has plenty of comfortable seating. Leisure facilities include an indoor swimming pool, sauna and gym. There is a lift.
