Day 1 - From your chosen joining point your feeder vehicle will take you to your designated interchange point where your holiday begins. After joining your holiday coach, it is just a short drive to spellbinding Canterbury, considered by many to be England’s top cathedral city. The narrow medieval alleyways, riverside gardens and ancient city walls are a joy to explore and of course, the magnificent World Heritage-listed cathedral dominates the centre.  Arrive at your hotel in Folkestone later today, ready for your first evening meal together. Day 2 – 3 At leisure in Folkestone with one included and one optional excursion.

Penshurst Place & Royal Tunbridge Wells
Set in the rural Weald of Kent surrounded by picturesque countryside and ancient parkland, Penshurst Place and Gardens has changed little over the centuries. The authentic stately home with 11 acres of formal garden, once the property of King Henry VIII, was left to his son King Edward VI and granted to Sir William Sidney in 1552. It has been the ancestral home of the Sidney family for more than 460 years since and was the birthplace of the great Elizabethan poet, courtier and soldier, Sir Philip Sidney. Then it’s off to the historic spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells to browse the chic independent shops of the collonaded Pantiles and the High Street, with its buzzy cafes, bars and one-of-a-kind shops.

Medieval Rye
Head along the coast across the Romney Marsh and nip over the 'border' into Sussex to the quaint medieval town of Rye, the sort of place you thought existed only in your imagination. Perched high on a hill, the former Cinque Port feels almost suspended in time and Rye’s unhurried atmosphere and enchanting streets draw visitors with their warm welcome. Cobbled lanes and mysterious passages reveal architectural treasures set amongst beautifully preserved Medieval, Tudor and Georgian buildings. Many are open to the public as fine restaurants, tearooms or pubs.

Day 4 - After breakfast, return homewards with  stop en-route in Rochester - a delight for lovers of history and culture with its iconic landmmarks, literary conection and unique shopping and dining options - something to explore around every corner. Head to interchange before arrving back at you local joining points early to mid-evening.
