Itinerary

Friday - After joining your holiday coach, drive to Malvern with suitable stops for refreshments en-route. Arrive at the Abbey Hotel, centrally located in Great Malvern itself, for your 3-night stay on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis.

Saturday – It’s off to Hereford this morning, the Cathedral City with the relaxed atmosphere of a country market town. Its origins date back to Saxon times and nowadays visitors delight in its rich heritage. The Cathedral Christmas Fair will be in full swing with carol singing at 1pm (TBC at time of print). Head back to the hotel early afternoon with a stop en-route at the Hop Pocket Shopping Village. Upon your return you may like to explore this lovely spa town of Great Malvern and enjoy its unspoilt beauty, with a glimpse of past Victoriana including many still-working gas lamps as well as stunning views of the Severn Valley.

Meet your antiques host, Brenda Haller, this evening. After dinner, a fun session will be held where your small items brought from home will be scrutinised and appraised. Ground rules for tomorrow’s treasure hunt challenge will be set out and each person will receive their cash ‘spending money’ (amount to be revealed on the night).

Sunday – Set off today to the Malvern Flea Market & Collectors Fair, the UK’s largest flea fair at the Three Counties Showground just outside the town. The setting against the beautiful Malvern Hills is a delight as bargain hunters head off on their quest to find that elusive trinket, bauble or curio that could change their fortunes! Experience the ‘Malvern Magic’ with hundreds of stalls across two halls and even more outside (number dependent on the weather) which combine to provide an incredibly eclectic shopping experience.

Back at the hotel this evening after dinner items bought at the Malvern Fair will be assessed by Brenda, who will declare whether it’s treasure or trash! A £50 Crusader Holidays voucher will be presented to the winner!

Monday – Homeward bound today with a scenic stop in the Cotswolds, arriving back at your local joining points early to mid-evening.
