Itinerary
Day 1: We will make our way to Warwickshire and our hotel arriving in time to freshen up before dinner.
Day 2: Today our excursion takes us to Stratford-upon-Avon, birthplace of William Shakespeare. Steeped in culture and history and set in the beautiful rural Warwickshire countryside, on the banks of the river Avon, it is one of the most important tourist destinations in the UK. Stratford-upon-Avon is a town, small in size but large in history and interest; the streets themselves hold a thousand delights with the chemistry of the ages mixed in with the needs of today and William Shakespeare's significance to the town can be found in his families' houses found about the streets. The town also offers diverse shopping opportunities from big name stores to unique, individual shops coupled with a wealth of restaurants and tea/coffee shops, Stratford-upon-Avon truly does have something for everyone.
Day 3: After breakfast we board our coach to enjoy a scenic drive through the Cotswold countryside. We will visit the most picturesque villages of the area including Broadway, Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-in-the-Wold, Moreton-in-Marsh and Chipping Campden. You will be able to wander round some of these pretty villages and take time to visit many of the shops, tea shops and restaurants on offer.
Day 4: Today is a day to relax and unwind and enjoy all the activities at Studley Castle.
Day 5: Sadly, today we must say goodbye and begin our journey home
