Day 1: We travel to Nidd Hall on the edge of the tranquil Yorkshire Dales, arriving in time to relax before dinner.
Day 2: Today we make the short journey to the delightful town of Harrogate, full of traditional heritage and fascinating museums and galleries. Known for its stunning historical buildings, lush gardens and natural springs Harrogate is a gem that offers a unique blend of old-world charm and modern sophistication. Once a popular destination for European high society, Harrogate shopping is just as stylish today and is well known for its eclectic, elegant and diverse range of shops. With much loved leading high street names and quality brands sitting alongside stylish independents.
Day 3: This morning we travel to the beautiful town of York, a vibrant city with Roman roots and a Viking past. We can stroll the ‘The Shambles’ one of the most recognised streets in England with its cobbled paving and overhanging buildings dating back as far as the 13th Century. The magnificent Minster is one of the world’s most majestic cathedrals with its exquisite, handcrafted stone, unrivalled collection of stained glass and its state-of-the-art Undercroft Museum in the chambers beneath. With 30 world class museums from the JORVIK Viking Centre, Fairfax House, National Railway Museum and York’s Chocolate Story to name but a few there’s really something for everyone. Not forgetting a huge selection of restaurants and cafes serving delicious food from across the globe.
Day 4: Enjoy a day to unwind and relax at Nidd Hall. Whether you wish to take a stroll through the pretty gardens and grounds, join in with some of the leisure activities or take a dip in the pool, today is yours to spend at leisure.
Day 5: After breakfast, we will depart Nidd Hall and make our way home.
