Itinerary
Itinerary
Day 1: We make our way to North Wales and our hotel arriving in time to freshen up before dinner.
Day 2: After breakfast we make our way to the City of Chester; its bewitching beauty and unique atmosphere make for an unforgettable day out. Each chapter of Chester's history is etched into the fabric of the city. This is where Roman Legionnaires marched to war, Viking raiders wreaked havoc and Norman invaders conquered Anglo Saxons. Chester has the most complete city walls, the largest Roman Amphitheatre in Britain, plus a 1000-year-old Cathedral with Europe's finest example of medieval carvings. We must not forget the one and only 700-year-old Rows galleries where shopping is a double delight. You will find stores galore set against a background of unique treasures of antiquity and a vibrant café culture where outdoor dining and people watching go hand in hand.
Day 3: Today our excursion takes us to Caernarfon, Gwyned's county town, home to Wales's most famous castle and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Mighty Caernarfon Castle commands the lion's share of attention, but the town's narrow streets and stylish redeveloped waterfront also merit a visit. In the afternoon we will travel through the spectacular Llanberis Pass to the picturesque village of Betws y Coed.
Day 4: Today is a day to relax and unwind and enjoy all the activities at Bodelwyddan.
Day 5: This morning we say goodbye and begin our journey home.
