Itinerary

Day 1 – ‘Christmas Eve’: We make our way to Devon and the resort of Torquay, arriving at our hotel in time to freshen up before dinner. This evening there will be pre-dinner mulled wine, Christmas Carols with the hotel’s brass band and an evening of festive entertainment with top-class local entertainers and a Christmas Show from the hotel’s fabulous entertainment team.

Day 2 – Christmas Day: Today there is a packed programme of daytime activities, including dancing and a festive quiz. You can also visit Father Christmas in his grotto and receive a special gift. Should you prefer some fresh Devonshire air why not take a stroll along the promenade, explore the shops in the town centre or just sit and relax at one of the many cafés or restaurants, the choice is yours. The festivities continue in the evening with a traditional Christmas dinner, coffee and mince pies and a superb evening of entertainment.

Day 3 – Boxing Day: This morning we have an excursion to Exeter, with its Gothic Cathedral, cobbled streets, and medieval history sitting alongside its modern and contemporary shopping centre. A small city that packs a big punch, Exeter is one of the most vibrant, attractive and historically interesting cities in England. There is free time in this fascinating city, either explore the cities historical heritage, or you may prefer a memorable shopping experience in a setting of architectural splendour. The city is a shopaholic’s must-do destination with chic boutiques and stylish independents alongside the familiar big name stores; this is the place for all your Christmas gifts!
Following dinner this evening, there will be a festive cabaret from one of the South West’s leading cabaret acts, there will also be a show performed by the hotel’s talented entertainment team.

Day 4 – New Year’s Eve: Our excursion today takes us to the market town of Totnes with its variety of shops and historic buildings before continuing to delightful Dartmouth. The River Dart is busy with boats of all shapes and sizes, and the town hosts the Royal Naval College. You have time to obtain lunch here before you return to the hotel late afternoon.

In the evening, there will be a New Year’s Eve Celebration Dinner with fizz! You will be able to celebrate the New Year with more top cabaret, followed by a late night disco.

Day 5: Today we must sadly say goodbye and begin our journey home.
