Itinerary
Day 1: We make our way to Devon and the resort of Torquay, arriving at our hotel in time for dinner.
Day 2: Today is your chance to explore Torquay; known as the 'Queen of the English Riviera' Torquay is one of England's best loved resorts. You may wish to wander around the harbour or enjoy a stroll along the promenade, or you may want to explore the shops in the town centre, you could just relax in and around the hotel or join in some of the daily activities, the choice is yours.
Day 3: This morning after breakfast, we travel the city of Exeter, with its Gothic cathedral, cobbled streets, and medieval history sitting alongside its modern and contemporary shopping centre. A small city that packs a big punch, Exeter is one of the most vibrant, attractive and historically interesting cities in England. Pre-dating the arrival of the Romans in AD50, Exeter’s history is rich and long. This is reflected in its fascinating visitor attractions including Underground Passages, free Red Coat Guided Tours, magnificent Cathedral, imposing Roman wall and beautiful Quayside. Exeter is also home to the award winning Royal Albert Memorial Museum where visitors can explore the city’s 2,000-year history under one roof!
Day 4: Our excursion today takes us to the market town of Totnes with its variety of shops and historic buildings before continuing to delightful Dartmouth. The River Dart is busy with boats of all shapes and sizes, and the town hosts the Royal Naval College. You have time to obtain lunch here before you return to the hotel late afternoon.
Day 5: Today we must sadly say goodbye and begin our journey home.

The charming TLH Toorak Hotel is located just a 5-minute walk from Torquay’s seafront. The hotel has an elegant restaurant and as a member of ‘Taste of the West’, serves organic and locally sourced produce. All bedrooms at the TLH Toorak Hotel have a private bathroom, TV, hairdryer and tea coffee making facilities; there is free Wi-Fi throughout. TLH Toorak Hotel features access to a luxury spa, leisure complex, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a gym. There is a lift at the hotel.Leisure facilities include a sauna, steam room and hot tub and there is also a games area with 10-pin bowling, pool and ping-pong tables and a children’s playground. A daily activities programme includes snorkelling and aerobics. The Starlight Bar in the neighbouring TLH Derwent Hotel hosts vibrant evening entertainment, with a mix of cabaret and live acts.
