From humbling beginnings in Nutbush, Tennessee, to her transformation into the global Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Tina Turner didn’t just break the rules, she rewrote them. This stage musical reveals the untold story of a woman who dared to defy the bounds of her age, gender and race. Before her passing in May 2023 Tina said about the show “It’s really important to me to have the chance to share my full story. This musical is not about my stardom. It is about the journey I took to get there. Each night I want audiences to take away from the theatre that you can turn poison into medicine”.
*The show time is 14:30 at Aldwych Theatre and there will be free time in Covent Garden before the show; maybe enjoy some retail therapy, take in some culture or sit back and relax at a host of bars and restaurants.
