Join us on a visit to Syon Park, the spectacular home of the Duke of Northumberland and one of the last great houses of London. Profoundly historic, the House holds a wealth of art within its grand classical interiors, while the Park and Gardens feel like deep countryside, although barely nine miles from Charing Cross.
The unique historic buildings and interiors, landscaped gardens and parkland have featured in an array or films and television series, including Bridgerton, Belgravia, Downtown Abbey, Killing Eve, Disney’s the Nutcracker, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil and Alice Through the Looking Glass, to name but a few.
Owned by the family for over 400 years and built on the site of the Medieval Syon Abbey, the house is Tudor in origin and was transformed by Robert Adam into one of the best examples of neo-classical splendour, housing an array of art and antiques collected over centuries by the Percy family. Our visit will include a guided tour and plenty of time to explore the house and the treasures located within, the stunning domed conservatory designed to house the 3rd Dukes extensive botanical collection and the tranquil 30 acre gardens within the 200 acre park which were transformed by Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown.
Please note: There are 8 stone steps at the entrance to the House, a few stairs on the principal floor and a staircase up to the bedroom floor.
