Itinerary

Itinerary

Day 1: We make our way to Norwich making a stop for lunch along the way. We will arrive at our hotel in time to freshen up before dinner.

Day 2: This morning we will enjoy a guided tour of the historic city of Norwich, the best way to discover the history of the city. Norwich is the most complete medieval city in the UK  and is a wonderful fusion of the modern and historic. This afternoon we have the highlight of our tour, a visit to Sandringham House and Gardens. With generations of history linked to the British Monarch since 1862, Sandringham Estate remains the private country retreat to Their Majesties King Charles lll and Queen Camilla. The House, built by King Edward Vll and Queen Alexandra, houses a collection of treasures ranging from the Victorian-era to the present day. The House is surrounded by glorious Gardens landscaped by Geoffrey Jelicoe and developed in turn by each Monarch.

Day 3: Our day starts with a visit to the Bure Valley Railway and a journey by steam through the picturesque Norfolk countryside to Wroxham. On arrival we disembark and take an easy stroll to Wroxham Bridge, from where we embark on the next stage of our journey; a leisurely circular cruise of the Norfolk Broads. We enjoy an afternoon beside the seaside with a trip to the coastal resort of Great Yarmouth and its ‘Golden Mile’ of attractions.

Day 4: Today we bid farewell and begin our journey home.
