Each winter, Longleat is transformed into an unmissable Festival of Light, which changes the park into a glowing winter wonderland. With a different theme each year, wonderful characters are displayed around the grounds to create an amazing illuminated spectacle. With our centrally located Bath hotel we will also enjoy time in this elegant city, full of traditional heritage and truly magical at Christmas. With its renowned Christmas Market and compact visitor friendly centre over-flowing with places to eat and drink, plus some of the finest independent shops in Britain it’s the perfect destination for a festive break.

Day 1: We arrive at our centrally located hotel early afternoon with plenty of time to revel in the sights, smells and festive ambience at the award winning Bath Christmas Market. Meander through the picturesque Georgian streets and experience over 150 stallholders in twinkling chalets, selling handmade, local and original gifts. Not forgetting the irresistible seasonal food, drinks and delicacies to entice you as you stroll around.
Day 2: After breakfast, we will make our way to Longleat. With our day ticket, we will enjoy a magical winter wonderland with spectacular festive attractions including a festively decorated Longleat House, the Main Square attractions, Winter Safari Drive Through and of course, the fantastic Festival of Light lanterns. The Lights Festival is a fantastic seasonal event you can enjoy with the whole family and is one of Longleat’s most awaited events of the year. There will be hundreds of lanterns, light shows around the grounds, a winding Winter Wonderland path with towering silk flowers, bright as stars and so much more; everything will be sparkling with music and magic at Longleat this Christmas! So get prepared to be amazed, as darkness falls, Longleat will transform into a breath-taking illuminated world!
Day 3: This morning you will have plenty of time to discover more of the city of Bath. Discover some of the best crafters of the South West, with stylish homeware, handmade jewellery, personalised presents and more. With mulled wine on every corner, immerse yourself in the sights and smells of Christmas whilst ticking off everything on your shopping list. We will board our coach in the afternoon and begin our journey home
