Glorious Guernsey | Crosskeys Short Breaks
A hidden gem in the British Isles it’s time to switch off and unwind on this five night stay on picture perfect Guernsey. July is a fantastic month to visit this beautiful island which is located only 27 miles from France. With its mild climate, a delightful continental feel, glorious sandy beaches, quaint rural lanes and delicious cuisine you’ll want to visit again and again.

Itinerary
Day 1: We travel from the UK to Guernsey on Condor Ferries high-speed ferry service before transferring to our hotel in delightful St Peter Port.
Day 2: Today we travel by ferry for a full day excursion to the Isle of Sark. We escape the hustle and bustle of modern life on our visit to this unique island with spectacular scenery, beautiful bays, coastal paths and cliff top views. On arrival we will take a ride to the top of the island on the ‘toast-rack’, the tractor drawn bus, to the main town square. The day is free to explore this peaceful and tranquil haven at your leisure.
Day 3: Our full day excursion today reveals the highlights of this glorious island. We visit the Little Chapel, beautifully decorated with seashells, pebbles and broken china and designed to recreate the famous grotto and basilica in Lourdes, France. Our tour also includes the German built naval observation tower of Pleinmont for stunning views of the south coast and the restored German gun battery. After a visit to Guernsey Pearl our tour continues to some of Guernsey’s favourite beaches including Coco Bay & Pembroke Bay.
Day 4: Today is at leisure to enjoy the wonders of this enchanting island. Maybe visit Hauteville House where Victor Hugo wrote Les Miserables or explore medieval Castle Cornet with magnificent views of the whole East coast of Guernsey. Take a stroll along the lively High Street in St Peter Port with well-known UK brands as well as boutiques and eateries or head over to the Old Quarter, where you’ll find a treasure trove of independent shops. And don’t forget all your shopping on the island is VAT free!
Day 5: This morning we embark the Travel Trident ferry for our short 20-minute boat ride from St Peter Port for our ½ day excursion to the paradisiacal island of Herm. A peaceful oasis with long stretches of unspoilt beach framed by turquoise waters, sandy cliff paths, local pods of dolphins and puffins. With no cars and no crowds it’s the perfect destination for rest and relaxation. This afternoon is at leisure time to enjoy the hotel’s facilities or the local area.
Day 6: Today we say goodbye to glorious Guernsey and make our return journey home.

Located in an excellent location within walking distance of St Peter Port town centre the former manor house dates back to 1765. The stunning house has been extended and upgraded offering great accommodation and facilities with relaxing lounges and tranquil gardens.
