Day 2: Today is 'Christmas Day' in the hotel and we will enjoy all the festivities this evening. After a hearty English breakfast, we travel to Bournemouth for some free time to explore this quintessentially British seaside town. With its huge variety of shops it’s a great place to gets some gifts or perhaps try your luck at some of the traditional amusement arcades. This afternoon we will enjoy a scenic drive through the beautiful New Forest with its remarkable biodiversity, breath-taking wildlife and famous free roaming ponies.  This evening our celebrations begin with a complimentary glass of wine followed by a traditional Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings. We will enjoy a visit from Santa and entertainment full of fun and frivolity with music, dancing and singing.

Day 3: After breakfast, we enjoy a scenic coastal journey to Bridport via Abbotsbury and West Bay. Wednesday is market day at this lively and vibrant town so it is the perfect time for some Christmas shopping. As well as the variety of stalls, there’s an eclectic mix of independent retailers, high street names and a fantastic antiques quarter.  This afternoon we travel to Dorchester, Dorset’s county town and the birthplace of the famous author and poet Thomas Hardy. The town enjoys a rich history dating back as far as the Iron Age and is home to fascinating museums, a bustling high street and delicious cafes and restaurants.  It’s Boxing Day at the hotel this evening and we will enjoy another celebration of festive entertainment.

Day 4: Today is at leisure to do as much or as little as you like in the charming resort town of Weymouth. There are plenty of wonderful eateries and, if you still have some presents to buy, there’s great shopping too.  Or why not switch off from it all with an exhilarating stroll across the beautiful golden beaches or along the promenade. Visit Brewers Quay, full of arts, crafts and antiques shops or take a journey of underwater discovery at the SEALIFE Centre. It’s 'New Year's Eve' at our hotel this evening and we’ll enjoy a candlelit Hogmanay dinner followed by party night entertainment. See the New Year in early (at 22:30hrs) with a glass of bubbly and a sing along to Auld Lang Syne.
