Day 2: This morning we will enjoy an included guided walking tour of Antwerp, learning about its fascinating history and culture. Belgium’s second city and biggest port retains an intriguing medieval heart with its 16th century market square, café filled cobbled lanes, a riverside fortress and a truly impressive gothic cathedral. Antwerp is renowned for its diamond dealers, vibrant fashion and entertainment scene and stunning architecture. Back on board this afternoon our ship travels through Belgium and into the Netherlands, crossing small inland seas and immense locks before arriving in Rotterdam this evening.

Day 3: Today we disembark our ship and make our way to the world-famous Keukenhof Gardens, the most beautiful spring garden in the world! A visit to Keukenhof is a truly sensational experience where more than 7 million flower bulbs are planted every year. Gardens and pavilions show a fantastic collection including tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, orchids and many more; the spectacle of colour and perfume is sublime. Alongside the extravaganza of 32 hectares of flowers, imaginative landscaping shows off Mother Nature at her outstanding best with shimmering lakes, water gardens and flowering shrubs of every hue. Keukenhof is a truly amazing experience never to be forgotten. Back on board this afternoon we depart for Amsterdam. This evening we enjoy a 4-course Gala dinner; a perfect finale to this wonderful day.

With over 800 years of history to discover, the city is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site rich in fascinating attractions and sights. With old castles, beautiful museums, charming secret courtyards and picturesque cobbled streets the Netherland’s capital city is a feast for the eyes. You can opt to spend your time at leisure in the city or alternatively you can choose to join an optional excursion.
