Itinerary

Day 1: A warm welcome awaits you at our hotel. There will be tea, coffee and mince pies upon our arrival; you will then have time to relax a little before a drinks reception in the Upper Bar followed by a 3-course evening meal.

Day 2 – Christmas Eve: This morning we will enjoya half-day excursion to the market town of Stratford-upon-Avon. Stratford-upon-Avon is the birthplace of William Shakespeare and steeped in culture and history. Set in the beautiful rural Warwickshire countryside, on the banks of the river Avon, it is one of the most important tourist destinations in the UK. Apart from the fascinating history of this beautiful town, Stratford is the perfect place for shopping, with big name stores along with an array of individual shops, ideal for that last minute gift. We will return to our hotel in the early afternoon in time for an afternoon cream tea. In the evening, there will be a pre-dinner drinks reception in the bar followed by a 3-course buffet dinner. There will be live entertainment after dinner and the option to attend Midnight Mass; hot chocolate and mince pies will be available on our return. 

Day 3 – Christmas Day: After breakfast, served with a glass of bucks fizz, the morning is yours to spend at leisure before a traditional, 3-course Christmas lunch with all the trimmings; there will be the opportunity to watch the King’s speech after lunch. You may wish to relax in the afternoon, or you may prefer to take a Christmas afternoon walk to blow the cobwebs away. There will be a 3-course buffet in the evening. 

Day 4 – Boxing Day:  You may wish to relax at the hotel on this Boxing Day morning doing nothing in particular, or you may prefer to join our excursion, a short drive through some of the pretty Cotswolds villages and countryside; if there were a sprinkling of snow the countryside would look even more beautiful. We return to our hotel for an afternoon cream tea and time spent with newfound friends. Later we will enjoy a Gala 3-course dinner followed by live entertainment.

Day 5 Today we must sadly say goodbye and begin our journey home.

The Stratford Manor Hotel & Spa is located within 21 acres of beautiful Warwickshire countryside and a short drive from the town of Stratford-upon-Avon.
