Itinerary

Day 1: This morning we make our way to Blackpool. Arriving mid-afternoon, the celebrations begin and we will enjoy a warm welcome from the wonderful team at the Imperial Hotel Blackpool. The remainder of the afternoon is to enjoy at your leisure, perhaps relax in the hotel or maybe take a leisurely stroll to the North pier or the iconic Blackpool Tower. This evening join us for a seasonal carvery buffet in the Palm Court restaurant followed by musical entertainment after dinner.

Day 2 – Christmas Eve: After a relaxed breakfast, the festivities continue as we enjoy a morning of merriment and frivolity at Blackpool Pleasure Beach’s, Globe Theatre, Cinderella Pantomime. It’s time to sit back, relax and be laughed off your seats for a magical extravaganza of hilarity. This afternoon, back at the hotel, enjoy a sumptuous afternoon tea and a choice of activities and entertainment. The Salvation Army will perform at the hotel’s evening drinks reception, before we enjoy a delicious three-course dinner. After your meal, tonight’s entertainment is guaranteed to get you well and truly in the Christmas spirit.

Day 3 - Christmas Day:  Merry Christmas! After a leisurely breakfast, you may wish to spend a relaxing morning opening presents before indulging in a delicious traditional Christmas lunch with all the trimmings. While away the afternoon in the lounge and watch the King’s speech or perhaps enjoy a Christmas sing-a-long and prize bingo before a fabulous buffet dinner this evening. There will be more great entertainment treats tonight. 

Day 4 – Boxing Day:  Today we enjoya scenic country drive through the stunning countryside of the Ribble Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty well known for its scenic countryside and rich heritage infused with history. We make a stop en-route in the ancient market town of Clitheroe with its imposing Norman Castle, which has dominated the town’s skyline for over 800 years. We return to the hotel this afternoon for a musical quiz, board games and afternoon tea. Tonight we enjoy a three-course gala dinner with a variety of entertainment throughout the evening.

Day 5:  After breakfast, we say goodbye and begin our journey home.

Imperial Hotel Blackpool

The Imperial Hotel Blackpool is in the quieter North Shore area. The North Pier is 1,000 yards away and there are trams to all the attractions. The Imperial Hotel first opened in 1867 and combines original character with modern comforts. There are an array of beautiful function rooms with high ceilings and Victorian features where breakfast and dinner are served. The No. 10 bar has served drinks to many British Prime Ministers and politicians throughout the years. All rooms are en-suite with TV and tea & coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi.  The hotel has a lift to all floors.
