A UNESCO city of Music and renowned for being the hometown of the world-famous Beatles, our tour takes us on a fascinating and unique experience as we enjoy an individual taxi tour of the iconic places that shaped the lives and songs of Liverpool’s Fab four. There will also be time to explore this vibrant and diverse city with its world-class attractions, fascinating museums and great shopping. And a visit to this lively city would not be complete without taking a “Ferry Cross the Mersey” too.

Day 1: We arrive at our modern, conveniently located, hotel in time for dinner.
Day 2: This morning we are transported back to the Swinging Sixties on an entertaining 3 hour Beatles taxi tour. Touring around Liverpool and its surrounding suburbs in our private taxi, driven by a local expert guide, we learn all about Liverpool’s fab four lads with visits to some of the iconic places that shaped their lives and music. Tour highlights include their childhood homes, the place where John Lennon met a 15-year-old Paul McCartney for the first time in 1957, the famous Penny Lane street, Strawberry Field and Eleanor Rigby’s grave. Our nostalgic and enlightening tour also includes stops for photo opportunities and refreshments.
Day 3: This morning we sail on Mersey Ferries for a 50-minute sightseeing cruise across the mighty Mersey. Learn more about the fascinating history of the River Mersey and see incredible views of Liverpool’s world famous waterfront. The afternoon is free to explore this diverse and exciting city at your leisure; maybe visit the Tate Gallery or Merseyside Maritime Museum at The Royal Albert Dock or perhaps enjoy a little retail therapy. There’s also the Beatles story, the world’s largest permanent exhibition devoted to the Fab 4 where you’ll be taken on a magical history tour and learn how four young lads from Liverpool were propelled from humble childhood beginnings to the dizzy heights of worldwide fame and fortune.
Day 4: After a delicious breakfast, we make our way home.
