Take a stroll along the seafront and magnificent beach (one of the longest and naturally occurring beaches in the UK) in this bustling seaside resort. Visit the Bay Café, located at the former iconic Tropicana Lido, which was home to Banksy’s Dismaland Exhibition in 2015, enjoy the delights of Grand Pier or even take a donkey ride for traditional seaside fun! The clean and tidy promenade is home to an array of shops selling everything you could want for a day beside the seaside. For a quieter beach experience why not wander to Marine Cove, a small cove where you can stroll from the cove onto Knightstone Island or along the Causeway. Why not visit Weston Museum for a hands on history from the pre-historic age right up to the 21st Century. You can also discover the art, media and culture of this quintessentially English seaside resort. Browse artwork by Thomas Gainsborough, see archaeology from Roman dwellings and even fossils and animal skeletons belonging to creatures that roamed Weston super mare millions of years ago. Weston super Mare also has a range of parks and green spaces for your enjoyment. Take a stroll through beautiful Grove Park, home to Jill’s Garden, in memory of local TV presenter Jill Dando, or Clarence Park with its play area, bowling club and the popular Oliver’s Café. For a family fun day out why not visit Pirate Adventureland! Find your treasure whilst taking on the 18 hole Adventure Golf, walk the plank along the high ropes course that spans the whole of Pirate Adventureland. It’s sure to be a swashbuckling day out giving you a treasure trove of memories. Visit the Helicopter Museum, with over 80 helicopters on display in the largest collection of Rotorcraft in the world. Sit and watch the world go by at the Town Square and Italian Gardens, with lush, green lawns and fountains to relax and enjoy.
The delightful city of Bath offers a unique experience and is a great place to visit on a UK coach holiday. It is the only city in the UK to be named a World Heritage Site.
Rich in diversity, its most famous attraction is of course its natural hot springs at the Roman Baths, a magnificent temple and bathing complex.
