Steam & Cruise Spectacular

Enjoy a spectacular journey along the coast by steam train from Paignton to Kingswear, with outstanding views of coast and country, crossing no less than three of Brunel’s great viaducts and passing through the famous tunnel en route. From Kingswear we cross by ferry to beautiful Dartmouth for a spectacular harbour cruise, with the sights of Dartmouth Castle, Ditchingham village, the Royal Naval College and Greenway House – home to the late Dame Agatha Christie.

Paignton

As the winner of the Seaside Award in 2018, Paignton’s beautiful scenery, thriving activities and huge amounts of fun things to get involved with throughout the town makes it a key place for families and other holidaymakers merely looking for a seaside escape!

If you’re looking to take the kids out for the day, Paignton has all sorts of activities that will keep everyone entertained, ranging from adventure golf to water parks, Paignton pier to the zoo. Not to mention local farms, the Dartmouth Steam Railway, Dinosaur World and long stretches of blonde beaches perfect to bask in the sunshine and make sandcastles.

Other attractions include Dartmoor scenic tours where you visit interesting and iconic sites, the Palace theatre and the global geopark.
