Nestled in northeastern France, Strasbourg is a true blend of French and German influences. Its picturesque old town, Grande Île, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, boasts stunning architecture including the Gothic Cathedral Notre-Dame. Its annual Christmas markets, dating back to 1570, are set in the heart of the historic city, with a fairytale atmosphere. Rows of wooden chalets with festive decorations, crafts, ornaments, and tantalizing treats like mulled wine and gingerbread.

Excursion to Strasbourg Christmas Market - Dating back to 1570, and among Europe's oldest and most enchanting. Held annually in the historic city center, they transform the streets into a festive wonderland..Afterwards, we leave France and travel to the pretty town of Gengenbach on the Western edge of the Black Forest. The home of the biggest Advent Calendar, the Old Town Hall is transformed into a day on the Advent calendar, with a new window opened every evening, to reveal a different festive scene. A truly magical experience.
