Augsburg Christmas Market - The heart of Bavarian tradition, the Augsburg Christmas Markets, where centuries of history meet the festive season. Held in the city’s picturesque Old Town, the Christkindlesmarkt on Rathausplatz is one of Germany’s oldest, dating back to the 15th century.

The Holiday Inn - Munich South - Located in the peaceful Obersendling district, just 15 minutes from Munich’s vibrant city centre, the Holiday Inn Munich offers 320 rooms, each featuring ensuite facilities, tea/coffee making equipment, hair dryer, tv and a private balcony or terrace

Augsburg Christmas Market - 

The heart of Bavarian tradition, the Augsburg Christmas Markets, where centuries of history meet the festive season. Held in the city’s picturesque Old Town, the Christkindlesmarkt on Rathausplatz is one of Germany’s oldest, dating back to the 15th century. Set against the stunning Renaissance town hall, the market features over 100 stalls offering handcrafted gifts, festive decorations, and seasonal treats.

A highlight of the celebration is the Engelsspiel, a beloved tradition where costumed angels appear on the town hall balcony, accompanied by music and lights. The cobbled streets are filled with the scent of roasted almonds, mulled wine, and gingerbread, along with local crafts, nativity scenes, and  performances.

Augsburg’s Christmas Markets promise an unforgettable holiday experience steeped in history and Bavarian hospitality.
