Morecambe & Lake Windermere Inclusive
5 Days Away
The seaside resort of Morecambe is celebrated for its famous son Eric Morecambe, who is immortalised in a statue on the promenade of his home town. Take a walk along to the stone jetty and admire the stunning series of award winning sculptures along the seafront, visit Happy Mount Park where you may be lucky enough to enjoy the brass band playing, or wander through the Japanese Garden. The beautiful art deco Midlands Hotel is an iconic sight on the front and a delightful place to enjoy afternoon tea while appreciating the wonderful sea views. The pretty town of Bowness-on-Windermere is the ideal place to appreciate the beautiful lake and it is easy to see why Beatrix Potter took so much inspiration from this idyllic location.
