A wonderful weekend away taking in the beauty of the Peak District and an evening to enjoy the fabulous Matlock Bath Illuminations - the unique parade of illuminated boats and stilt walkers along the River Derwent, followed by a spectacular firework display.

You'll watch the illuminations from the beautiful Derwent Gardens - a great evening for the whole family (perfectly complimented by some Fish & Chips while you watch!). First displayed 126 years ago for Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee, they attract 100,000+ visitors every year.

Matlock Bath Illuminations - A fun-filled, unique event for the whole family, the spectacular parade of illuminated themed models mounted on rowing boats along the River Derwent takes place in the Derbyshire village for eight weekends each Autumn.
