Directed by Julie Taymor, the production features ingenious puppetry, stunning effects, and music by Elton John, Tim Rice, and Lebo M—including classics like “Circle of Life,” “Hakuna Matata,” and “Can You Feel the Love Tonight.”
From the moment the curtain rises, you are transported to the heart of the African savannah, with over 200 handcrafted puppets and amazing costumes bring giraffes, gazelles, and birds to life with its design and emotion.
Performances run for 2 hours and 30 minutes, including a 15-minute interval.
The Lion King is recommended for ages 6 and up; children under 3 are not permitted, and those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
