The beautiful Isle of Man, situated in the Irish Sea is a wonderful place to enjoy a break. Staying in the capital, Douglas our centrally located hotel is set on the promenade and offers the perfect location to appreciate the attractions the town has to offer. The stunning sandy bay stretches over 2 miles and the horse drawn trams which meander along are a relaxing way to travel and appreciate the view without too much effort. The Steam trains leave from the end of the town and travel on a scenic journey through the lush countryside to Port Erin, a delightful seaside town with an interesting railway museum.
The Laxey Wheel is one of the islands most popular attractions, built in 1854 to pump water from the mine, this feat of engineering is the largest working waterwheel in the world, a climb to the top is rewarded with breath-taking views over the island. The pretty town of Ramsey’s palm tree lined sea front, offers a continental feel, visit the heritage centre to discover the fascinating history of the island, or enjoy a stroll along the bustling harbour.
The delightful Castletown, encompassing Castle Rushen, a medieval Viking fortress which dominates the harbour, formerly the islands capital, the narrow streets and tiny fishing cottages, give a special magical charm and transports you back in time.

Castletown, Port St Mary & Port Erin
We include a visit to Castletown, the island’s ancient capital, dominated by its 600 year old castle and built around a picturesque harbour. Wander the narrow streets and discover stone cottages. Discover Port St Mary, with its fishing harbour and houses strung out in a chain above the busy dockside, as well as pretty Port Erin that lies at the South Western tip of the island with its wide, fine, sandy beach.
