England face a major test against Uruguay in this enthralling fixture, part of the 2026 Send-Off Series ahead of the World Cup in the United States. The last meeting between the sides came over a decade ago, when Steven Gerrard, Wayne Rooney and company slipped to a 2–1 defeat.

You can support the Three Lions with Caledonian as part of this exciting break to London.

Thomas Tuchel’s team stormed through their qualification campaign in Group K, winning all eight matches and scoring 22 goals along the way. Harry Kane led the line superbly, producing a series of talismanic performances in front of goal.

Wembley Stadium has delivered countless iconic moments for England supporters over the years, and this occasion should be no different as England fine-tune their World Cup preparations. Uruguay, however, are not here to make up the numbers, with stars such as Rodrigo Bentancur, Rodrigo Zalazar and Ronald Araújo ready to test the hosts.

Following England at Wembley has its own unique feel. Supporters line Wembley Way, chatting, grabbing food and soaking up the build-up. Inside the stadium, the noise swells as the teams emerge, with the crowd firmly behind the Three Lions.

With one night in our select hotel and free time in London included, what football break could be better?

You’ll also have time to enjoy the delights of London and its wide array of sights, attractions, shops and top tourist spots. A perfect match for football lovers and London explorers..
