Enjoy the medieval fortress of Chillingham Castle in Northumberland, renowned as one of Britain’s most haunted locations. Its ghostly legends include the Blue Boy, whose cries echo through the Pink Room before a mysterious blue light appears. The Lady in White roams the castle’s hall with unexplained footsteps and sudden icy drafts. When the moonlight casts shadows of the battlements across the flagstones, it is hard not to see the shades and shadows come to life.
