Walk the city walls, the oldest, longest and most complete in Britain, with part dating back nearly 2,000 years. Whilst giving you an insight into the history of Chester, the full circuit of the walls also allows you to take in wondrous views of the city.
You’ll be spoilt for choice with the selection of attractions to explore in the city, including the largest Roman Amphitheatre in Britain, cruises along the beautiful River Dee and the 1,000-year-old cathedral with fine examples of medieval wood carvings.
