Pitlochry & Perth - Enjoy a wonderful scenic excursion to Pitlochry. First, we travel to Perth for time to explore the vibrant city centre brimming with a wide range of quaint shops, café culture, exciting arts scene, and many attractions for your enjoyment. Before continuing to the Highland town of Pitlochry, rich in history and beautiful scenery, it’s not surprising that Pitlochry is one of Scotland’s most popular holiday destinations. On our return journey, we visit the famous Queen’s View, Falls of Dochart, Loch Tummel, Aberfeldy, and through the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park, via Loch Tay and the Falls of Dochart.

The Caledonian Thistle Hotel, a landmark hotel in the picturesque town of Callander, often referred to as the gateway to the Highlands. In August, crowds flock to see the impressive Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, a unique not-to-be-missed event that’s been attracting visitors since 1950. 

The Royal Mile is the city’s most famous street, running through the centre of the Old Town and connecting up the magnificent Edinburgh Castle with the beautiful Palace of Holyroodhouse. Visit Perth Museum and Art Gallery, where you will find an impressive permanent collection, discover local history in the Beginnings Gallery, explore the areas natural history in Wild and Wonderful along with a range of artworks. This is one of the city’s most photographed buildings with its iconic copper domed roof and striking external columns. Why not try the Black Watch Castle and Museum and discover the extraordinary history of The Black Watch from its formation in 1739 to the merging of the Regiment in 2006. Or why not take a stroll along the River Tay and the stunning art trail – themed around the city’s people and most notable achievements – with a variety of sculptures amalgamating culture and natural to form a wonderful experience.
