Windsor Castle At Christmas
Windsor Castle is one of the oldest Royal residences in England, where Medieval magnificence meets gilded golden splendour. Originally built by William the Conqueror, the castle has been extensively re-designed and rebuilt by successive monarchs, which has given it a very unique style. At Christmastime, the Queen’s favourite weekend retreat, is adorned with golden decorations and glittering baubles, so that the festive atmosphere seems to seep from the walls! You’ll be able to see the castle in all its glory on this wonderful tour, so why not join us and visit this most iconic castle at this special time of year!

Day 1 – After a morning departure from your local pick-up point, you’ll head to London, where you’ll have some time to explore the city in the afternoon before continuing on to the hotel.
Day 2 – After breakfast, you’ll be whisked off the Windsor and the marvellous castle. Your visit will take you to the lavish State and Semi-State Apartments, where you’ll be able to see the exquisite furnishings and paintings which adorn each room. You’ll also be able to see the most famous Doll’s House in the world – Queen Mary’s Doll’s House which was built between 1921 and 1924.
Please note that there will be a 10-minute walk between the coach park and the castle entrance, and that St George’s Chapel will be closed for worship.
