Itinerary

Day 1

Morning departure from your local pickup point to Bury. You will have some free time for sightseeing and lunch (not included) before walking to Bury Station to join the East Lancashire Railway on a scenic 40 minute journey to Rawtenstall. There’s a short stop in Rawtenstall before returning to Bury station. Rejoin the coach to the hotel.

Day 2

We begin our day at Manchester Airport Runway Visitor Park for a 90 minute tour of Concorde. This tour provides a great opportunity to marvel at Concorde’s unique aviation engineering with a pre-flight briefing, time to relax in the luxury leather seats, viewing of the flight deck and a stroll underneath. In the afternoon we visit Tatton Park estate with included entry to the mansion, gardens and farm. 
Please be aware there are 26 steps to climb aboard Concorde. There are handrails on both sides. Also note Concorde is in a Hangar, and visitors should dress appropriately for the weather. 

Day 3

After breakfast we check out of the hotel for Skipton where we have a 60 minute canal boat cruise. The recorded commentary provides interesting and fascinating stories of how the Leeds & Liverpool Canal delivered the lifeblood of the Industrial Revolution through Yorkshire. There will be some free time afterwards before returning home.
