Itinerary

Day 1

Morning departure from your local pickup point to the Winnock Hotel in Dryman, a beautiful village in the Trossachs. We will be greeted with a welcome drinks reception before dinner is served. 

Itinerary

During our stay in the Trossachs we include the following attractions:
Loch Katrine Cruise 
Enjoy a relaxing 2 hour cruise aboard Steam Ship SS Walter Scott as she meanders through Loch Katrine. Lunch at the Lochside Restaurant is also included. 
Falkirk Wheel 
Take a ride on the world’s first and only rotating boat lift. This iconic Scottish landmark offers a 60 minute boat trip giving guests a spectacular view over central Scotland. 
Bo’Ness & Kinneil Railway 
Sit back and relax as we journey along the Forth Estuary, through woodlands, past waterfalls and over the Avon Viaduct whilst indulging in afternoon tea of freshly made sandwiches, cakes and scones with tea/coffee.

Day 5

After breakfast we rejoin the coach for our return journey home.

Accommodation

Winnock Hotel

The Winnock Hotel dates back to the late 1700s as a former coaching inn. Having been lovingly resorted it now offers 73 bedrooms, lounges with open log fires and a characterful restaurant. All of the accommodation at the Winnock Hotel is different. From layout and size to décor and outlook, the majority of the rooms are unique which all adds to the charm of the Winnock Hotel. Many of the rooms have original features including fire places in some rooms and sash windows overlooking the village green. The hotel does not have a lift but ground floor rooms are available.  Back to top
