Itinerary
Day 1
Morning departure from your local pickup point, we make our way to Torquay arriving at the hotel late afternoon. Settle into your room before enjoying a delicious evening meal. Begin your holiday by checking out tonight's entertainment.
Day 2
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, today is a free day in Torquay. Explore Torquay at your own pace and discover its bustling harbour and marina, the quaint independent shops and it's endless cafes and eateries. Alternatively, relax in the hotel, enjoy the spa facilities or join in with the day time activities.
Day 3
Enjoy an included excursion to the maritime city of Plymouth. This historic naval city has a breathtaking harbour and a wealth of attractions including the National Marine Aquarium and the delightful Hoe, the promenade along Plymouth Sound and some excellent shopping. From the historic Barbican area, we take a delightful harbour cruise to soak up the sights. We return via Buckfast Abbey, famous for its tonic wine. Offering a tranquil refuge to chaotic everyday life, the Abbey also has gift shops and The Grange Restaurant where you can enjoy homemade cakes.
Day 4
Today we have the morning in Brixham and the afternoon in Torquay. Brixham is a stunningly beautiful harbourside town with the freshest fish and most delicious seafood on the menu everywhere. Enjoy a stroll along the waterfront and sample a cream tea at one of the lovely local cafes, restaurants, and pubs, many facing the waterfront.
Day 5
After a leisurely breakfast, we head home with wonderful memories of Torquay!
