Itinerary

Day 1

Join the coach at your local pickup point, we make our way across the border into Scotland and Aberfoyle.

Day 2

Today we head towards the River Forth. Take a ride on the Bo’ness & Kinneil Railway and soak up the atmosphere of this heritage railway as you journey through 10 miles of stunning scenary along the Forth Estuary.  We also include a Three Bridges Cruise taking in the sights of the magnificent Three Bridges, Inchcolm Island, and its medieval abbey the ‘Iona of the East’, the Edinburgh skyline and the marine wildlife including seals, puffins, porpoises, and dolphins. During the cruise you will be served a cream tea.

Day 3

Today we visit Stirling. This small city that has plenty to see and do. The most iconic attraction is the mighty castle standing in the heart of the city and the Old Town Jail showcases the history of crime and punishment and is well worth a visit. We return to the hotel for an early dinner before heading to the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Take your seat and be prepared for a spectacular evening of music and dancing – a truly unforgettable experience.

Edinburgh Castle Accessibility

Please note it is a steep walk up a cobbled street to the Castle and there are steps leading up to the Tattoo seating. Patrons with limited mobility, those with heart or respiratory problems and those that suffer from vertigo, may find access more challenging.

Day 4

After a leisurely start, we journey through the Trossachs to Callander, a pretty town crammed full of tea rooms and souvenir shops. On our return to the hotel we make a stop at the Scottish Wool Centre in Aberfoyle.

Day 5

After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and make our way home.
