Itinerary

Day 1

Depart in the morning from your local pickup point, with a stop at Stratford-upon-Avon en route to Cheltenham. After check-in, unwind or use the hotel's leisure facilities before dinner.

Day 2

Today, you may choose to spend the day independently exploring the surroundings areas of the hotel or join our excursion. After breakfast we depart for Chipping Norton. Chipping Norton, known to locals as "Chippy," is a lively town and the highest point in Oxfordshire, located on the northeastern edge of the Cotswolds. It was a major center for the wool trade in the Middle Ages and maintains its traditional charm with a bustling market square, historic stone buildings, and a strong sense of community. After some free time, we head to Stow-on-the-Wold, a charming market town. Famous for its antique shops, tea rooms, and market square, the town has a rich history that stretches back to an Iron Age fort and medieval wool trading. We then go on to visit Hawkstone Brewery for a tour and a sample. The expert tour guides will teach you all about the history of Hawkstone, how the lager is brewed and show you around the brewhouse, all supported, of course, by generous sampling. Brewery tours last around 2 hours.

Day 3

Explore Cheltenham, then take the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway through scenic landscapes to Broadway. The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway offers a nostalgic steam train experience, winding past rolling hills and charming villages. Once in Broadway, explore its picturesque High Street lined with honey-coloured stone buildings, unique boutiques, and cosy tea rooms. Known as the 'Jewel of the Cotswolds', Broadway dates back to the Domesday Book and was first centred around its old church. Don’t miss the iconic Broadway Tower, which provides panoramic views across the countryside - a perfect way to complete your journey.

Day 4

We leave the hotel to begin our journey home. On the way, we pause in the historic town of Warwick, known for its striking medieval architecture and vibrant local atmosphere. Here, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the charming cafés or restaurants dotted around the town. If time allows, you might choose to take a leisurely stroll through the bustling market square, explore some of the quaint shops, or admire the impressive façade of Warwick Castle before continuing our journey.
