Itinerary
Day 1
Scenic drive to TenbyAfter joining the coach at your local pick-up point, we have a scenic drive ahead to South Wales. With a comfort stop or two, take in the sights before checking in to The Belgrave Hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure, take a cliff top walk or relax in the spa before our evening meal.Day 2
St Dogmaels Farmers Market, Cardigan & FishguardAfter breakfast we head to St Dogmaels which hosts a local farmers market every Tuesday. The market features produce that is grown, reared, or manufactured within a 30-mile radius of St Dogmaels. Local honey, cheese, wood crafts, and pottery are available on the stalls. Visitors can also go to the Abbey or have coffee at the coach house cafe. Next, we visit Cardigan, a historic Welsh town with a Norman castle. The high street has vintage gift shops and cafes. Cardigan Guildhall Indoor Market also offers various interesting shops. In the afternoon, we'll visit Fishguard. Quaint cottages line the water and small boats sway in the harbour. You can also see the Last Invasion Tapestry, depicting the 1797 landing of Bonaparte's troops near the town.Day 3
Carmarthen, Laugharne Castle & SaundersfootWe will visit Carmarthen, the oldest town in Wales, known for its history and market. After lunch, we will stop at Laugharne Castle by the river Taf, then head to Saundersfoot, a coastal village ideal for refreshments in tearooms overlooking the harbour.Day 4
Free day in TenbyEnjoy a leisurely breakfast as we have a free day in Tenby. With the Tenby Harbour, the Tudor Merchants House, Tenby Museum and Art Gallery plus plenty of eateries and quaint shops – you’ll be spoilt for choice on how to spend your day.Day 5
Journey homeAfter breakfast, we say goodbye to Tenby and make our journey home.Includes
