Itinerary
Day 1
We depart in the morning and travel towards North Wales, stopping en route in the historic city of Chester. Enjoy free time to explore the famous Roman walls, browse the unique Rows, or relax with lunch in one of the many cafés. Later, we continue our journey to Llandudno, where we check in to our hotel and settle in for our first evening by the seaside.
Day 2
Today is free for you to enjoy Llandudno at your own pace. Take a leisurely stroll along the sweeping promenade, visit the pier, or ride the Great Orme Tramway for breathtaking views over the coast. The town also offers a variety of shops, tearooms and attractions, making it easy to fill the day exactly as you wish.
Day 3
This morning we visit the impressive Penrhyn Castle & Gardens, a stunning National Trust property set against the backdrop of the Snowdonia mountains. Explore the grand interiors, extensive art collections and beautifully landscaped gardens. In the afternoon, we travel to the historic town of Conwy, where you’ll have free time to admire the medieval town walls, visit Conwy Castle or wander the picturesque harbour.
Day 4
A full and memorable day exploring the heart of North Wales. We begin with a scenic journey on the Llanberis Lake Railway, offering wonderful views across Llyn Padarn. We then visit the National Slate Museum, where you can learn about the region’s industrial heritage. The afternoon is spent in Caernarfon, home to one of Wales’s most famous castles, with time to explore the town or enjoy refreshments by the waterfront.
Day 5
After checking out of the hotel, we make a short drive to the world-renowned Bodnant Garden. With its terraced gardens, colourful borders and sweeping views across the Conwy Valley, it provides a beautiful final highlight of our tour. We then begin our journey home, bringing this delightful Welsh holiday to a close.
