Itinerary
Day 1
Sit back and enjoy the comfort of our coach as we make our way to Oxenhope, gateway to the beautiful Worth Valley. Here, we include a return journey on the delightful Keighley & Worth Valley Railway. This much-loved heritage railway offers a gentle steam-hauled ride through rolling countryside and charming village stations — a wonderful chance to simply relax, take in the scenery, and enjoy a touch of nostalgia. They’ll be chance to visit the popular towns of Haworth and Keighley.
Day 2
After breakfast, we visit the magnificent Piece Hall, a beautifully restored 18th-century cloth hall. Today it is home to fascinating heritage displays, independent shops, and inviting cafés. We then continue to the picturesque town of Holmfirth, a true Yorkshire gem. With its cobbled streets and riverside setting, it’s best known as the filming location for the much-loved television series Last of the Summer Wine. Enjoy time to explore, perhaps with a cup of tea while soaking up the familiar surroundings.
On our journey home, we round off the day with a stop at Wetherby Whaler - Wakefield, where you can enjoy traditional fish and chips — the perfect comforting end to a thoroughly enjoyable break.
