St Annes Delights

We depart this morning from your local departure points calling at Skipton, a bustling little market town in the foothills of the Pennines. Later this day we continue over the scenic Pennines and on to St Annes with time to settle in and relax before this evening’s dinner.
Morning visit to Fleetwood Market. It is a busy traditional market with over 150 indoor and outdoor stalls. It’s a true shopper’s paradise and you’ll find a variety of stalls including food, clothing and household goods – all at great prices. In the afternoon we return to St Annes.
Full day at leisure in Blackpool. If you are feeling adventurous take a trip up the famous Blackpool Tower, which soars 158 metres above the town or quieter adventurers can appreciate Blackpool’s calmer side by strolling down the newly renovated South Promenade.
Avoiding the motorway today as we travel to the lovely market town of Garstang where we enjoy free time before heading to another of Lancashire's seaside favourites - Morecambe. Stroll along the golden sands have a coffee or an ice cream in one of the cafés lining the seafront, or visit the Eric Morecombe statue which looks out across the Promenade.
After a leisurely start to the day we bid farewell to St Annes and make our return journey home.

The St Ives Hotel is 2 minutes walk from the beach, and 100 yards from St Annes Pier, offering splendid views across the coast and the Irish Sea. All guest rooms are en suite and have TV, hair dryer and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a lift to the first floor.
