Of quite a different character from its larger neighbour Blackpool, St. Annes has a charm of its own. Half-timbered buildings mingle with a scene of parks and gardens, together with a pleasant promenade. The town has a fine shopping centre and there is a frequent bus service to nearby Blackpool. The combined Borough of Lytham and St. Annes is also famous for its golf links with four championship courses close-by Royal Lytham St. Annes, Fairhaven, Lytham Green & St. Ann’s Old Links.
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.
After completing our local pick up route we head towards Lytham St Annes, with call at Bury's World Famous Market where we will have time for a browse and lunch. On arrival at our hotel there is time to freshen up before this evenings dinner.
Today we visit Blackpool. Dropping off close to the seafront, the day is yours to explore this iconic resort. With its famous Tower, promenade and seven miles of award-winning golden beaches – there much to see and do.
On this day we head to Southport. Nestled on the Sefton coast, Southport has more than 22 miles of coastline boasting a number of beautiful beaches and stunning natural beauty.
Today we say a fond farewell to our hosts and make our way back home calling at Oswaldtwistle Mills on the way back.
