Spring In The Lake District
Shake off those winter-blues with a short trip to the Lake District and enjoy the spectacular views in England’s largest National Park. With high peaks and deep lakes, there’s plenty to see, with some gorgeous spring views as the whole park starts to come to life in the slightly warmer weather!
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.
After a morning departure from your local pick-up point, you’ll head into Cumbria and the market town of Bedale where you’ll have a little time to explore before continuing on to the hotel in Shap.
You’ll take a journey through the most popular destination in the Lake District; Windermere. Lake Windermere is the largest natural lake in England and a perfect spot if you fancy messing about on boats! You’ll then continue on to Ambleside, where you’ll have time to explore.
After checking out of the hotel, you’ll head to Kendal at the south of the Lake District, where you’ll have time to explore and maybe buy some famous Kendal Mint Cake! You’ll then head on to Skipton for the afternoon, before returning home.
Shap Wells Hotel

Many of the guest rooms have windows overlooking stunning views of the area and the hotel has retained many of its original features which give it an old-world atmosphere. The 98 guest rooms have recently been re-furbished and include Wi-Fi, TV and tea/coffee facilities. The hotel has a lift, but this does not grant access to all rooms.
