Take in the splendour of the Severn Valley in Shropshire – an area brimming with its remarkable history, award winning attractions and nostalgic railways.

Itinerary
Day 1
Morning departure from your local pick up point, we make our way to Shropshire calling at Lichfield, a lovely cathedral city with a rich heritage.
Day 2
Today we visit Blists Hill Victorian Town open air museum, part of the Ironbridge Gorge UNESCO World Heritage Site. Step back to a time and place where traditional life and industry sat side by side at the dawn of the modern age. Visit Victorian shops and cottages, taste authentic food and sweets and join craftspeople demonstrating their trades in our recreated working town.
Day 3
A leisurely day in Shrewsbury. We include a 45 minute cruise with tea/coffee and biscuits. During the cruise you will see many historic sites such as Shrewsbury Castle and St Marys, the only Mediaeval church in Shrewsbury which remains intact.
Day 4
We begin with a journey on the Severn Valley Railway. Joining at Kidderminster we experience the golden age of travel aboard the award-winning heritage railway. The coach will be waiting at Bridgnorth to take us into Ludlow for the afternoon. The town is arguably one of the finest historic towns in England with a wealth of beautiful period buildings.
Day 5
After breakfast we check out of the hotel and make our way home with a stop at Webbs of Wychbold Garden Centre.

Stourport Manor Hotel
This beautiful Victorian manor house is set on the outskirts of Stourport-on-Severn surrounded by landscaped gardens. There is a lovely leisure club with pool and spa pool, a perfect place to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. Please note there is no lift but ground floor rooms are available on request.
