Itinerary

Day 1

Travel in comfort to Dunoon with relaxing stops along the way, arriving ready to unwind by the coast.

Day 2

Cross the scenic Kyles of Bute and take the ferry from Colintraive to the Isle of Bute. Explore the elegant seaside town of Rothesay before visiting the spectacular Mount Stuart, a lavish neo-Gothic mansion set within 300 acres of gardens, woodland walks, and a private beach.

Day 3

Enjoy a relaxed morning in Dunoon, perhaps visiting the local museum, before travelling through the beautiful scenery of Holy Loch and Loch Fyne to Inveraray. Visit the impressive Inveraray Castle, home to the Duke of Argyll, with its grand interiors, gardens, and Highland cattle.

Day 4

Travel along the shoreline to historic Kilmun, home to the Argyll Mausoleum and a beautiful 19th-century church with remarkable stained glass and a rare water-powered organ. Continue to the magnificent Benmore Botanic Garden, a 120-acre world-class garden featuring plants from across the globe.

Day 5

Return journey home.
