Oban is the unofficial capital of the West Highlands of Scotland and our base for this holiday. Indulge in the panoramic views of the mountains, lochs and islands which have captivated artists, authors, composers, and poets for centuries
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.
Itinerary
Day 1
Morning departure from your local pickup up point, we make our way to Oban arriving late afternoon.
Day 2
Free day. Stroll along the Esplanade, watch the ships come and go, visit McGaig’s Tower which overlooks the town and perhaps visit the War & Peace Museum.
Day 3
We take a coastal drive along Loch Linnhe to Fort William for some free time in highland resort.
Day 4
Today’s excursions takes us through glorious countryside and along the northern tip of Loch Awe to Inverary Castle. The castle is home to the Duke & Duchess of Argyll who open the doors to allow visitors a glimpse into their family heritage and the way their ancestors lived. See breathtaking displays in the Armoury Hall, exquisitely decorated tapestries in the Drawing Room and extravagant decorations in the State Dining Room.
Day 5
After breakfast, rejoin the coach as we retrace our journey home.

The price is based on two full fare paying passengers sharing a twin/double room. Child and infant prices only apply when sharing with two full fare paying passengers. Any bookings made online showing an incorrect price will be amended.

Royal Hotel Oban
The Royal Hotel stands in the centre of town close to the harbour and ferry terminal and has a busy high street full of local shops and cafes to enjoy. The traditionally decorated rooms offer a comfortable stay and are equipped with TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel has a lift but, due to the age of the building, there are internal steps.
