After a morning departure from your local pick-up point, you’ll head to Great Yarmouth; you’ll arrive by mid-afternoon and you’ll have the rest of the day to explore and settle in to the hotel.
After breakfast, you’ll start the day in Aylsham, where you’ll board an historic carriage on the Bure Valley Railway for a relaxing and nostalgic journey along 9 miles of track, taking in the picturesque scenery as you travel to Wroxham. When you arrive, there’ll be a leisurely 15-minute walk to Wroxham Bridge where a boat will be waiting to take you on a cruise along the Broads.
You’ll be whisked away to Thursford, where you’ll find the world’s largest collection of steam propelled traction engines, mechanical organs and fairground rides; take a ride on a carousel and visit the ‘olde worlde’ shopping village which has a year-round Christmas store before listening to performance on an antique Wurlitzer organ!
After a leisurely start to the day, you’ll check out of the hotel and re-join the coach for the journey home.
