Medieval Banquet Christmas Special
Festive meal and Medieval Entertainment 4* London Hotel
Join for a Christmas Party night, and enjoy an all inclusive evening at the regal Medieval Banquet by flickering torchlight, in the vaulted cellars of Ivory House, just a stone’s throw away from the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Accompanying King Henry VIII are fighting knights, strolling players and dancing wenches which provide a magical medieval pageant for your delight. There will be a festive dinner, decorations and a great atmosphere.
The evening usually starts around 6.30pm, and finishes at around 10.30pm.
Costumes are available to hire for the evening – pre booking of these is not necessary, and the charge is currently £10. (Maybe subject to change)
Although there will be free wine, beer & soft drinks throughout the meal service, there is a licenced bar available for those who want something different.
Unfortunately owing to the location of the banquet, it is difficult to access for those with limited mobility, as access is via several steps (and no lift is available).
PLEASE NOTE: Price is per person and based on two people sharing a twin/double room. Single room supplements and upgrades are not included.
Day 1Travel to hotel and Banquet
Arrive in London early afternoon and take a few hours of free time. It’s just a short walk from the hotel to Ivory House, the setting for the Medieval Banquet where a four course feast awaits you with unlimited beer and wine during the meal in King Henry’s Banqueting Halls. Prepare to be swashed and buckled by the fiery knights, marvel at minstrels and enjoy varied entertainment. After the show, there is music and dancing or alternatively you can take a night cap at one of the bars in the area or back at the hotel.
The evening starts around 6.30pm, and finishes around 10.30pm (times to be confirmed).
Day 2London sightseeing and home
After an English breakfast at the hotel, you have the chance for an optional visit to the Tower of London or maybe take in the Christmas market stalls on London’s South bank.
A river cruise from Tower Pier either to Greenwich or back into Central London is always a nice way to start the day, and the boats are of course fully covered and heated.
